“David Brown Builders constructed my architecturally designed home on a steeply sloping site at Kai Iwi Beach. The house has a concrete block lower level, suspended concrete floor with timber framed upper storey and a Nuraply warm roof.
The house is a complex design specified with quality materials and fittings and large areas of glass.
The workmanship was to a very high standard with David through the build providing good alternate solutions to the architect to improve the buildability of the house.
The subcontractors and civil design engineer were largely managed by David, they delivered quality work and turned up onsite when required to keep the project moving.
